Ale No.1 (5.4% ABV)
This is an amber-coloured ale, top-fermented. It has a malty nose with a hint of fruit and honey, and a subtle honey-like bitter finish.
Food suggestions: enjoy with a wide range of savouries and desserts, including chocolate.
At the 2013 Ealing Beer Festival in July it went down very well with people who wanted Kölsch or Pilsner but the bottle stall had run out! Think the colour of an English bitter and the aroma of Saaz hops.
